Got an oil leak at the front of your Triumph Herald Spitfire Vitesse GT6 TR5 TR6 2000 2500 MG Midget 1500 , CHECK the Alloy Sealing Block above the sump and behind the timing cover and Engine front plate . These are bad for being cross threaded , over tightened or warped . The bolts are 5/16 UNF and make sure the correct length of bolt is used. Use Good Quality gaskets ,New wooden Wedges and Wellseal sealer on assembly
